Warranty Options

Guaranteed

1 Year Workmanship Warranty

All block retaining walls, concrete paver patios, driveways, and walkways installed by our team are covered by a 1-year workmanship warranty from the date of completion. This warranty covers installation-related defects, including:

Improper base preparation
Shifting or movement caused by installation error
Structural issues resulting from workmanship

If an issue arises that falls under this coverage, our team will inspect the project and make the necessary repairs at no cost to the customer.

What's Not Covered

To keep things clear and fair, this warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear from use or weather exposure
Minor settling or natural movement due to Minnesota freeze/thaw cycles
Discoloration, staining, or efflorescence of materials
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or lack of proper maintenance
Excessive weight loads or unintended use (vehicles on non-driveway surfaces, etc.)
Acts of nature (flooding, erosion, tree roots, severe weather, etc.)
Drainage or water issues outside the original project scope
Any modifications or repairs performed by others after installation

Extended Option

2 Year Workmanship Warranty

For homeowners looking for long term peace of mind, Up North Hardscapes offers an optional extended protection plan that expands your coverage to a full 3 years from project completion.

This plan includes everything covered under our standard 1 - year workmanship warranty, plus extended protection against installation related issues such as:

Excessive settling beyond normal conditions
Paver movement or shifting due to base failure
Structural integrity concerns with retaining walls
Installation related drainage issues within project scope

Added Benefits:

Priority service scheduling for warranty related repairs
Reduced long term repair cost if issues arise

Investment:

This protection plan is available for 10% of your project total, with a maximum cost of $3000, depending on project size and scope.

What's Not Covered:

All items listed above in the 1-year warranty apply to exclusions on this plan. Repairs are limited to affected areas and do not include full project replacement unless deemed necessary by Up North Hardscapes.

We will schedule an inspection within a reasonable timeframe
If covered, repairs will be completed promptly based project scope and season

1 Year Warranty Guarantee

All block retaining walls and concrete paver patios, driveways, and pathways installed by Up North Hardscapes are covered for a period of one year against faulty workmanship. This warranty covers any installation defects including breakage and settling that may occur through no fault of the customer. Warranty does not cover discoloration or efflorescence of concrete based materials, stains caused by foreign substances, Acts of God (flood, wind, snow, etc.), normal wear and tear on hardscape area or excessive traffic and abnormal weight, nor modifications or repairs done by anyone other than an Up North Hardscapes employee.
